This picture was taken from my backyard last night. Our view from the deck, looking back towards LA Crest foothills you could see the smoke from the Cajon pass fire and all around us the wind was billowing, there was a ring of thunder, lightening and this beautiful rainbow. We had a friend visiting from NY and we answered, “of course, this is typical Los Angeles,” even though he knew better. Jeremy took this picture and I’m so glad he did. (thanks JZ)
